Why could you need this module? First, when you have a definite purpose – online store. I.e. you have some goods and you know how and whom you will sell them. The second case is when you have some subject website and you want to sell associated goods.
Globally, there three types of goods – tangible products, electronic items and services. A tangible product is anything that can be touched: from cats to refrigerators. Such goods require delivery, i.e. you will need a delivery service or a place where customers could come and take the purchased goods themselves.
Electronic goods are files or codes. When you sell such goods you do not need any delivery services, operators etc. Your e-shop staff can consist of one person only - you. Note that you must have permissions to sell such goods: you cannot download or buy a disk with software and then sell it to customers – it is not legal.
Service requires neither delivery nor downloading. A customer buys a service and you supply it.
The module can be used both for small shops where a dozen of goods can be added manually, and for shops with large amounts of goods. For this purpose E-shop has such features as automatic processing of price lists, automatic controlling of prices etc.
uCoz e-shop module has SMS payment option (beta version). It works for 61 countries.
Module installation
E-shop module is paid. There is a test period during which you can examine the module and decide whether to use it or not. You can also enable this module as a part of a premium package.
